Disaster Relief
In the past San Diego County has been very involved with Disaster Relief and has often reached out to the local medical community for volunteers to participate on Medical Missions on short notice. At Connect the Docs we would like to facilitate data collection, education and hands on training programs for physicians who would be interested in participating in disaster relief medical missions in preparation for these events. The names of participating physicians will be listed on our website and a database of pertinent info will be available through Connect the Docs MSO office. This information will be maintained and updated by the friendly staff at Connect the Docs. Of course we understand that you may not be able to attend on any particular Medical Mission based on timing and prior commitments, but either way the preparation will be invaluable to the efforts when such events occur and who knows the next disaster may be very close to home.
