Terminal
Our terminals come paired with high resolution displays and can run Windows, OS X, Java, Linux, UNIX, and Web-based applications safely on central servers using a thin computing protocol. Applications do not traverse the network and are not downloaded to the workstation, eliminating the security and bandwidth issues common with PCs. A terminal is the perfect solution for an office staff conducting their daily responsibilities.
Workstation
When a little more computing power is required, a workstation is what you are looking for. A workstation comes paired with one of our high resolution displays, a local hard drive, CD/DVD drive, and additional computing power. All workstations still connect to our servers and provide the same capabilities as our popular terminals, just with added computing power and a little more customizability.
Laptop
Our laptops are everything a workstation is, with the added benefit of mobility. They provide local hard drives, CD/DVD drives, and additional computing power. Depending on workflow, Laptops can be a vital tool in helping physicians deliver the best and most efficient patient care.
Mobile
In being a leader in technology, Connect the Docs knows that today’s physicians are on the move. To help facilitate our on-the-go physicians we offer iPads and other mobile devices that connect directly to our servers and most EMRs. These light weight, highly portable devises allow our clients to access their records and continue to work from anywhere they may find themselves.
Network
Our network items are those required to deliver secure and reliable network access to an entire practice. Items such as firewalls, routers, and wired or wireless network access points.
Support
Connect the Docs offers full support for all our equipment and software. Clients can call our office and get immediate support over the phone or, if required, we will send a highly skilled technician to address the problem onsite.
As part of our support, Connect the Docs will upgrade your equipment every three years to ensure that each and every practice has all the tools necessary to succeed during these dynamic times. The best part is that the Connect the Docs support and equipment upgrades are included free as part of our Virtualization Model.
